On most business trips we are on a very tight schedule: work, meetings, planes, trains. And so on. We never have too much spare time at hand yet we hope to experience something authentic and avoid the touristy things to do. Whenever I am on a business trip, I get to be shown around and spare the time and effort to find and experience those few things I have time for.
Disconnecting is difficult. Coming back could be, too. In between, there is this amazing opportunity to take a closer look at everything: yourself, people around you, the city you live in and all the tiny details that could make a difference in your life if you care to acknowledge them.

They advise us to be memorable when giving a presentation. Only being memorable for every minute of your speech is intimidating. Even if they grew an intention to ask a question, in the end, the audience became hesitant and gave up – given the guest stories, how can I match that?
